Nature and Bio-diversity:- High school Eco Club.

The first outing arranged by the Eco Club was a litter clean-up at Mitchell Park on Friday 13 March. Although initially there did not seem to be much litter, the students found evidence of a party and lots of small items eg straws were picked up. The amazing thing was that this was in close proximity to several Teletubby-adorned bins! Lazy or stupid?!
The Eco Club would like to encourage all college students to dispense their litter in the bins provided and place recycling items in the appropriate bins at school. We look forward to more students joining us on future endeavours.

Nature and Biodiversity:- Grade fives in the garden

The Grade 5 children had loads of fun planting different types of veg and some fruit trees. They learnt why it is important to loosen the roots before you plant and they helped dig the tunnel to collect rain water.
They are looking forward to watering and looking after their plants and watching them grow.
