Senior Eco Club sell Indigenous Plants

The Senior Eco Club raised R800 for future Green projects

Donation to Marine Surf

Eden College had a wonderful fashion show at the Green Fest and raised R13620 which was donated to Marine Surf Lifesaving Club to support lifesaving. Unlike many other sports clubs, lifesaving is a hobby which gives back to the community with members having to do active duty on the weekends and public holidays on Durban's beaches.  At Eden to receive the money from Mr Marcellin, the Principal was Carmel Billson: Current Marine SLC Competitions Captain and Captain of the South African Lifesaving Team. Carmel currently holds the all time record for national title win in a single season, taking 17 national titles in 2016. Carmel has been a lifesaver since the age of 15 and performs voluntary duties on Sundays and Public Holidays looking after the public and Russell Sadler, Current Marine SLC and South African Team Coach. And Russell Sadler: Previous member of SA Lifesaving team, Multiple National title holder and life member of Scottburgh Surf Lifesaving Club for having performed 10 years of active voluntary duties on Scottburgh Beach.

Letter of Thanks Project Rhino KZN

Hi Jean, Chris and Greta   Many thanks for your Generous sponsor to Project Rhino. The fact that the school adopted the Rhino as an awareness  project was a privilege. The generous Amount of R8000 was a huge Boost  to our various sectors of Project Rhino Which I explained in the Assembly.   Im sure you are proud of the support the Green Eco fest provided the parents and the Community. The deluge of Rain the night before was welcome and cleared in time for a superb Spring day.   We hope to continue our relationship with your School and proud of the Education Standard Eden provides to its Learners.   Best regards     Grant Fowlds | Rhino Art Project Coordinator and Fundraiser Direct: (+27) 083 2641978 | grant@rhinoart.co.za |www.projectrhinokzn.org |  Face book  | Twitter WINNER: 2016 GRAA Rhino Conservation Awards – Best Awareness, Education & Funding c/o African Conservation Trust (Secretariat)
