Gardening program
Thanks to Jo Padt who is running our Gardening slots with classes in the Prep.Each class will be assigned a slot to tackle a gardening project during school this term.Thanks too to Mrs Rosser for her invaluable contribution to Indigenous planting at the school. She is also working with the Eco club to upgrade gardens. We would love interested parents to get involved...just drop us a line in homework books if you are keen.

We are very excited to tell you that YOTV is coming to school on 8 Feb to film aspects of our Eco programme for two inserts on TV.

Thank you to Jasmine Paul for assisting in the training of the Grade 6 pupils at our recycling depot.Well done to the enthusiastic Grade 6 pupils for coping so well at their new duties.Reminder to all Recyclers...Please separate your waste eg Tins.Cardboard.Paper.Plastic.Organic.Glass.You will not get ESP Points if not separated.

Eco Warrior/Ambassador Launch
Today the New Eco Status Point (ESP) system was launched at Eden .Mrs van Elden explained the new program to the Prep students in assembly and the parents at the Prep Information evening.ESP can be earned through outstanding class work, recycling and eco club attendance , projects set by specialist teachers and eco challenges that are posted on the Eco blog. High ESP can be rewarded with certificates,badges and ultimately Eco warrior awards. The college students can go on to receive Eco Ambassador awards.Commendations and colours can now be awarded to senior students for ECO. Parents of the Prep can also be awarded certificates. We are excited to be one happy green family.

Staff First Day Pot Painting
Phyllis and Karen organized a painting of pots with staff on the first day back.The pots will be planted up and put around the school to brighten up the corridors.
