Nurdle Clean up

There is a container that leaked Nurdles that have washed up on our beaches.There are many clean ups to try and clean up along the coast.Please Google or look at ECRS website for more details.These small moon shaped pieces of polystyrene are extremely dangerous to the maritime food chain.Get involved if possible. This is one of the aftereffects of our floods.

College Gardeners

Well done to the College Eco Club for tackling the gardens around the amphitheatre. Thanks to Mrs Rosser and Miss Bailey for their help.Such wonderful green enthusiasts.

Cut off Date ESP 2017

Work as hard as you can this weekend and next week as ESP points close on Nov 3 for final 2017 awards.

Offer to sell 10 calendars and earn a whopping 15 points.They are R50 and easy to sell.

Clean up Beaches and rivers

Remember that our beaches are still very polluted from the floods.Pick up bags of litter on a beach and send your photos to Mrs van Elden for ESP points.

Get down to the beachfront tomorrow at 8 am (suncoast) to do the Park Run.Lets get active for Summer.

Rhino Bake Sale

Congrats  to  the two groups who used such initiative to do a bake Sale. One group raised R635 and the other R710. .Amazing stuff guys...That is a whopping R1345 for the Rhinos.Tx to moms who provided ingredients and assisted with making the treats.

Community Outreach...Durban Children's Home

Grade 7 Moral kids spent an afternoon with children at the Children's home.The entertained them  with stories, art activities. , a show and games.

Sustainability Paper Finalists

Leo Maseko, Simran Singh and Sethu Motaung submitted a sustainability research paper to SAIIA earlier this year and Eden has been selected as one of the finalists for the competition! They are presenting the paper to a panel in Joburg in December . Congratulations.

Last term Grade 4 conducted a survey on traffic on Rick Turner Road and tried to come up with solutions to reduce local carbon footprint.
