Water Saving Drive

Albert Falls Dam is currently at 22 percent. If Durban continues to use water at its present rate, we will be in the same situation as Cape Town within a year.Eden is committing to try and reduce water consumption by 40 percent.Students are asked to bring bottles of water to school which they may refill. No drinking from taps is allowed.Save water as if your life depends on it because...actually it does. The water collection for Cape Town certainly brought home the reality of how urgent water issues are.
Thanks to all who donated so generously to this cause.

However our beaches are filthy.People are drinkng alcohol on the promenade, leaving huge amount of litter everywhere and not treating the beach with respect. This is enough to put tourists off visiting.
Write a letter to the Mayoress of Durban to complain about the litter on our beaches.Explain why you don't like it and make some suggestions eg. Spot fines
Hand in to Mrs van Elden before the end of Jan.10 ESP
