5 day Fitness Challenge: Day One!

This week, our prep school is kicking off something exciting, energising, and just a little bit challenging, our 5 Day Fitness Challenge!

As part of our focus on healthy living and caring for ourselves as well as our planet, we’re encouraging all pupils to get moving with a 10-minute fitness challenge each day for the next five days. Just ten minutes might not sound like much, but small actions, just like small eco-friendly habits, can make a big difference over time.

Each day will bring a new activity designed to get hearts pumping and smiles growing. From star jumps and skipping to balance challenges and mini circuits, the goal isn’t to be the fastest or the strongest, it’s to take part, try your best, and have fun.

Why are we doing this?

Being active is not only great for our bodies, but it also helps our minds. Exercise can improve focus in lessons, boost mood, increase energy levels, and build resilience. Just like looking after the environment, looking after ourselves is an important part of building a healthy future.

We’re taking these challenges outdoors. Fresh air, green spaces, and movement are a powerful combination, and a wonderful reminder of why protecting our environment matters.

Well done to everyone who joined in for Day 1!
