The Grade 3s went on excursion to uShaka Marine World today. A lot of fun was had, as well as a lot of learning. We learnt a lot about all the beautiful sea creatures that live in our oceans as well as how our litter can negatively affect them. It was interesting to see how similar plastic bags look to jelly fish and how easy it is for turtles to mistake the plastic for their food. They also said we could whatsapp our eco promise to 0663923370. ie: I will only use paper straws. What will your promise be?
