Thanks to the Grade 7 girls ,Marilina and Jules for a wonderful informative evening .Thanks too to all the parents.staff and pupils who attended.We will all be inspired to make exciting food choices, preparing our food creatively and looking after our guts.Best tips of the evening: 1.Eat from the tree not the factory.2.Healthy gut , healthy mind. 3 . Don't eat from a box or in front of a box.4.Focus on good food and don't make your focus not eating bad food.5.Use a 80/20 principle.. 80 percent of your food should be healthy 6.Be a role model for your kids.7.Read food labels.8.Avoid foods that have unpronounceable words ,chemical compounds or unrecognizable ingredients on labels.8.Build your child's health foundations for Life. . 9.Beautiful looking food is appealing. ..look at pinterest for ideas.

Grade 8 Arts and Culture
Our groups busy scripting the Preprimary Eco show dealing with topics such as Litter, Looking after the Sea, Healthy Food, Recycling and 5he importance of Trees.

Tonight Marilina Lewis will be giving a wonderful inspirational talk on easy guidelines to providing nutritious food for yourself and your family.Please come and support this initiative run by Grade 7 pupils Serini and Karuna.The New Tuck shop will be open.Lucky draw prizes.ESP points.6 pm -7 p.m
Gardening Grade 00
Grade 00 spent time in the garden with Jo yesterday. The had a sensory lesson tasting and smelling herbs.They also planted Spring onions and went back to the classroom for tea made with our very own lemongrass.Delicious.
Battery Campaign Project Manager
Anele has volunteered to run the battery collection.She realizes the dangers of putting old batteries on landfill sites and wants to reduce the amount of poisons going into the water table.She will be disposing of collected batteries at proper disposal facilities.Well done Anele.There are collection points in the College and at the Green Spot in the Prep.
