Global and local issues : Permaculture ( Water Week)

We decided as an Eco School that we would get each child in the school during Water Week to plant a plant in the school grounds as well as take one home. In Grade 2 we were so lucky as Jo ( one of our mums) oversaw the whole project. She is so knowledgeable and taught us so much.

After planting up our garden we then went to plant up a seedling to take home. Jo was so patient and eventually each child went home happily carrying a herb that they had chosen.

Thank you Jo for all your hard work at our school. I hope some of the seedlings are growing beautifully at home.
