Nature and Biodiversity - Grade 11 Sustainable Development studies

Grade 11 Geography students have this year had as their theme Sustainable Development.  They have studied subjects as varied as Soil Erosion and the effects of this on Desertification in South Africa, to the effects of Globalization on fuel consumption and the contribution this has made to Global warming.  Unfortunately we have not been able to do as many field trips as we would like, but we are to be visiting the landfill site shortly to view the effect of this and the gas project that accompanies it.  The students will write an essay entitled
