Last Wednesday Bronwyn from the Wildlands conservation trust visited us at out assembly. The aim of the trust is to uplift people in need. She showed us a video of a granny(gogo) who her organisation had helped. No money changes hands - it is run on bater system. Gogo grew trees and did some market gardening.She also collects bottles for recycling. Bronwyn and her helpers organise for the granny to trade her plants, for things that her family need. Bronwyn challenged us to help others like the granny. She has asked us to collect clothing of all sizes. To start the bater system she gave us a Bush Willow tree from gogo. She will be returning on 16 November to collect, whichever class collects the most will be rewarded with a prize.
We encourage all to participate in this very worthy cause.
