Parent help needed
If any mums could volunteer to help Mrs van Elden in mornings of last week of school.,it would be so appreciated. It is a fundraiser for Thula Thula Rhino Sanctuary. It is very easy.
Dipika and Family make Recycled Gift.
Well done Dipika,Demira and Dayita for the effort put into making a recycled pen organizers .The family intends selling these at the Green Fest.Please drop off clean cans at the recycling depot in separate packets for a Dipika to collect.
Healthy Life Week
Karuna and Serini Grade 7 are running the Healthy Life Week.They have done a notice board, organized an assembly and a Healthy Eating Evening.Please do support them this Thursday.Marlina Lewis will address you and you will get to meet Jules from the Tuckshop and hear about Jo Padts organic Veg.

Dreadful attack on Rhino Orphanage
On Monday night two of the orphan Rhinos were killed at Thula Thula. (The orphanage we support).There has been a desperate plea for help to up their security. If any parents or College pupils are interested in assisting help us raise more funds and strengthening our campaign, please contact Mrs van Elden on jeanvanelden@gmail.com. There are many different project we need assistance with.Our Wildlife Heritage needs your input.
Grade 4 Bean Sprouts
The Grade 4 classes made sprouts using black lentil seeds.They learned about the properties of sprouts as a healthy power packed snack.They can also be added to stir fries.
Grade 4 Gardening
Here are the Grade 4 classes gardening.They learned about compost, mulching and planting.Just look at the expressions on the faces after they have passed around the compost and then heard what it consists of.

Mrs van Elden needs the help of some mums from Mon 3 April until Thurs 6 April for a very easy fundraising project for our Rhino Fund.She will set everything up...Just need Mums on duty to sell snacks from 9.30 until 1.30 each day.You can volunteer for one or all of the days.Please contact her on 0825607185 via sms or whatsapp as soon as possible.Will really appreciate.
Grade 7 Gardening Slot
The Grade 7 class enjoyed their time in the garden today.Amongst other activities they planted our new Scarecrow.
Grade 2 frog Fun
Today the grade 2 children worked in groups to make frog posters. They were each given information about a different African frog and then do a teach back to the class
Eco puppet show Ravolen
Congratulations to Ravolen for his initiative in the making of a fantastic puppet show about litter in the sea and giving a helping hand.

A new Scarecrow for the Garden
Thanks to Carter for his beautiful Scarecrow. It will be planted in the garden today.
Grade 7 Eco Assembly Groups
Gr 7 have been preparing their eco assembly Super hero presentations.They will be assessed next week.
