Grade 2C Eco warriors - Planting challenge

 The Grade 2s have been super busy planting.. 

Shaheed planted Thyme, coriander, mint and oregano!

Suhani planted parsley and fenugreek!

Tejal planted lots of little seedlings in her garden... I can't wait to see what grows!

Bentley was very busy over the weekend planting carrots!

Shivka looks like she had great fun doing this challenge! 

Garren planted spring onions for this challenge!

Event 2 Dusi Canoe Marathon

 The Dusi is a gruelling

3 day 120km canoe race down the Umgeni River.It was held this last weekend.We are basing our next 2 3co challenges on this event as we look at the importance of water conservation and the need to keep our precious water resources clean.

                                           Komal started her Duzi events by calculating her own and her                                                                    family's water usage with her dad

She made signs inside and outside the house and at school to make her family and friends aware of using water sparingly.

She also collected water from the aircon overnight  and 

manage to collect about 750ml
