Healthy eating - Grade 7 Assembly

The grade 7's performed an assembly on Healthy eating.  We focused on the fact that your bodies need the right fuel in order to function properly and compared it to running a car.  You can't run a car on cakes or sweets or any kind of food...you need the right petrol.  Just like our bodies need healthy foods to work properly.  We sang a song that we made up with the tune of "All about the bass" called "All about the Fruit and veg"

Because you know we're all about the fruit, bout the veg no junk x3 (Chorus)

Yeah its pretty clear, eating healthy's good for you

and we're gonna eat it eat it, like we're supposed to do

cause we've got those brains brains that all the kids want

and all the right strength in all the right places

We see those magazines, advertising KFC

you know that junk aint good come on now make them see

if we eat healthy healthy, then they would stop and every inch

of you'll be perfect from the bottom to the top

Yeah our teachers they told us to stop eating all those sweeties

cause we dont wanna get us a whole lot of cavities

you know we dont wanna be some stick figure barbie dolls

but eating healthy will make you grow up to be smart and strong
